“You should’ve told me when you didn’t love me anymore. I’d have gone away, far away from both of you, to live or to die in a place where nobody despises me. It is true, that nobody can escape reality and move on. But, that wasn’t fair for an incapable soul, for the one who lurked deep inside me. There are two sides here. This is the end of the current page. Just flip it over if you want to continue. I’m afraid I can’t tell you what would happen if you don’t.”
Today, I’m all set to see you, with a bouquet of what you like the most. I know, that you wouldn’t take more than a jiffy to guess it right.
But, you’re nowhere around. You’re still, just like that mannequin which was draped by your favourite clothing you always wanted.
“I still love both of you, keeping all those sharp-edged criticism aside. My love for you was unconditional. Maybe that wasn’t enough. Both of you wanted more for you had invested a heap of fortune, which would possibly not return. I do not blame you for what I’m going to do the very next moment. I’m matured enough to decide for this is my damned life. I just want both of you to live a healthy and a happy life. It’s time to move on.
I’d like to end all of this – short, subtle and sweet.
Should I thank you for reading this?
I wish I could.
Charm.”
What do you mean by short, subtle and sweet? Nobody will ever know because it was your story in which you lived.
The gates were wide open with nobody around it. Nobody else cared about the deafening silence out in the open.
Nobody welcomes you here. You come here. You pray. You go back to the place where you had started.
Oh, I look around, to see sad and helpless faces. The kids do not know what had happened.
They’ve brought you those garlands. I’m surprised to know that I’m the only person who knew what you hated and loved.
I want you to wake up for I have brought you the Lilies you love.
😞

I really liked it but ….. I didn’t quite get some of it . Is she dead or is she with someone. I’m sorry that I’m asking this.

No, please don’t be sorry! This is a real-life inspired post (only a tiny part of it is real). Thank you for your time.

This is sure a very very touching post. My experience was kinda drowning in the sea of sadness until the end and literally shoving aside little invisible heart tears and reading the last line-
“They’ve brought you those garlands. I’m surprised to know that I’m the only person who knew what you hated and loved.
I want you to wake up for I have brought you the Lilies you love.”
I am so intrigued by how beautifully you expressed pain and regret. Moreover this post reminds me of time, how time consumes and actually what the reality is –
that clocks don’t make a sound that even remotely resembles ticking, tocking.
It was more the sound of a hammer, upside down, hacking methodically at the earth. It was the sound of a
grave.
We loose and we gain our whole life and it moves on with secrets uncovered and buried yet going away with the person we won’t see ever.
Beautiful beautiful write-up, I loved it!

Oh my god! I’m currently unable to react! Nobody has ever appreciated me to this level. I think they have, but this, this is so special. You’ve gone through every single line and you have given me such a valuable comment to read early in the morning. I really don’t know how to express my gratitude for what you did and I know that a simple ‘Thank you’ will not do justice to the words you’ve typed here.
But, I’d like to convey my heartfelt thanks to you by just telling you – “Thank you, for reading my post and for all the love you showered on this particular post. I really felt great after reading your comment here. I’d also like to tell you that this is going to kick-start my day and I’m going to stay motivated until I stop writing – Oh! I don’t think I’ll stop doing that.
With love, Pavan.

The pleasure’s all mine, Pavan! I really did.
Also, I’m curious to know what your name means, if you don’t mind telling me of course
LikeLiked by 2 people
Yeah, sure!
Pavan, is a Sanskrit word for ‘Air’. Oh, I’d like to ask you the same question. Your name seems to be a very unique one.

Wow, that’s so cool. I just had a feeling I’d probably heard your name in conversation or on tv and decided to ask.
Oh, Mvadi actually isn’t my real name. I’ve used it as my alias ever since my blog started and I concealed my name for the sake of anonymity and privacy… Mvadi just sort of came to me with no context. I’m pretty sure that it’s not an English word but it rolled off my tongue nicely and I took it

Oh, that sounds nice. It’s nice to use aliases when we want to keep things private. But, I like your name, Mvadi. A real name or not, your blog looks real to me. Keep writing, Mvadi. I’ll be there for you!

Yeah, I feel the same way. I guess when you create a safe space for yourself, you don’t want people to associate you with anything like a particular place or culture and a set of ideas. I guess I just want people to see me as a person and someone who just feels things and is willing to talk about them openly and honestly. I’m just me. Thank you so much, Pavan. I really appreciate the understanding and support on your part. Likewise!

I understand the reason u chose this one… Was it real? It should be because the way u have written it reflects that it must be real… If you haven’t thn your imagination is excellent. I think former is right…. I will give a feedback on the basis of your answer… I always think whether we should go for future glory or live our current life care free….

Well, this is slightly based on a true incident that occurred sometime ago – about someone related to me, who passed away.

You have written very well to express the feelings… This is the reason I don’t understand the meaning of life… Appreciating this work will be meaningless for the someone lies in ur heart… Where I can’t reach….
