Maybe it’s not too late to tell you

What I’m feeling right now

Because I’ve just figured that out

I’ve been waiting for this time

To arrive so that I’d tell this

To someone I love

Oh, I think I’m rushing right now

Because I’ve done that before

And I know the consequences

Or, should I just say whatever

I’m feeling right now because

I may change my mind later?

I think that I should slow down

Because it’s better to do so

When things get complicated

Things are always complicated

Aren’t they?

“I’m glad that you’re glad that I’m happy.”

Yeah. That makes sense.

I’m not broken down but

I know that something’s

Not right

I think that I’m blank.

I’ve to change that

All by myself and I know that

It takes time

Everything takes time.

I’ve messed things up

But, I’d like to tell you that

My heart still flies for you.

  1. Wowww! This is so beautifully penned. It feels a lot like a ‘Soliloquy’ to me, this is one term I learnt recently in Literature class, haha. So, I thought to show-off. πŸ˜›

I like the confusion that you have shown so perfectly in the beginning, how your emotions are like a see-saw, and it’s so difficult to decide whether to confess or not! The last line takes my heart away. ❀ It’s like a six word story, hehe. And you sketch very well, Pavan. Keep going.

    1. Oh, hey there Firefly! Thank you so much for going through whatever I’ve written. Oh, I think that it’s too short to call it a soliloquy. I’m glad that you liked it. Yes, we learn everyday and it’s okay to show off!
Thank you so much for appreciating me! You too, keep up the good work. Cheers!
