Nobody Knocks

Thoughts

I’ve been waiting since a week or two.

Well, I’m not sure about the number

Of days that have passed by.

I’ve been quarantined.

I’ve been warned

About the consequences.

But I know that

Nothing can be done

As I’m confined

Within this room of emptiness.

I have no company.

The door has been locked

From the outside.

Should I cry for help or

Should I keep quiet?

I don’t know.

I think I should wait until someone

Knocks on the door so that I can answer.

Nobody knocks on a door

That has been locked anyway.

    1. I’m doing well. I was on a break! Well, no. I was just caught up with other important things. Also, I didn’t have the creativity to write. A thought that I could write on paper. I just happened to overcome writer’s block yesterday, if that’s really a thing.
