I used to dream about you

Whenever I was left out

And that wouldn’t stop until I

Saw you at the place

Where you belong.

I knew that my heart wanted you

Very badly because I’d do anything

In order to keep you within my reach

And unlike many other things

You weren’t easy to be acquired.

I knew that there were many others

That were enticing, just like you

But you were special and

I couldn’t bear it when I saw you

With someone else.

One day, I made up my mind

To sneak out of my house and return

With you by my side

Thinking about the good times

In spite of all the restrictions.

But when I held you within my hands

You slipped and fell onto the ground

Making it impossible for me

To pick you up or to buy another one

That looks exactly like you.
